Subject: Brush your shoulders off
I'm not one to give perfect scores on jams, b/c 60% of the time I feel as if the musicians get lost within themselves(bored) but after listening to this I realized that I couldn't stop moving my shoulders and hips. Fun-ky.

Fly through the smoke and listen to this today.

Subject: thanks Jimmy!
i dismissed this right off the bat as probably not a good DL. i was going off what the other 2 superjams sound like. well, thanks Jimmy for pointing it out to me. This is *VERY* listenable and the personnel are some of my favorites. excellent DL if you like-a-da-funk. note: track 4 sounds more like "Funky Miracle" than "Under the Weather"

This was my birthday weekend also and what a way to cap it off! I missed tyhe superjams the last two Roos and wasn't going to miss this one, no matter how hard it rained. Great show, great time!

Subject: SUPERJAM 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was probably one of the highlights of my bonnaroo and i had just left another highlight medeski martin and wood a bit early bc the superjam was starting. after indulging in fine bonnaroo treats i made my way to the very front of the stage. this superjam was absolutely kicking!! i couldnt stop dancing to the infectuous groove these guys kept laying down. definately one of the more high energy shows at bonnaroo 04. i remember the lighting outside and running under the tent to stay out of the rain. stanton and george are teh ultimate rhythym section and maceo's horn really gave it all a nice touch. amazing show i cant wait for the bonnaroo superjam in 2005 so far we know herbie hancock is in it and most likely stanton moore. hope to see who else is in it.

Subject: For Bonnaroo this is great sound!
I was at David Byrne and decided to leave early because the Superjams never disappoint. This was no exception. The weather made me want to weep but this show was friggin ridiculous. I won't lie the rain sent me home a little early but this is the best downloads in terms of quality for all the superjams that I have heard. Thanks to the ARCHIVE once again.

Subject: Superjam III
This is the best Superjam that has ever taken the stage at Bonnaroo. The first Jam is unbelieveable and you can actually listen to the entire set without skipping around songs. It's perfect to just funk-out to

Subject: Nice jam and good sound quality
Please note: track 2 is actually not just an improvised jam. Like most of the songs in this set, the musicians interpret the song somewhat loosely. However, this jam is clearly based upon the song "Voices Inside (Everything is Everything)" (they even do the bridge) which was recorded by Donny Hathaway on his debut album "Everything Is Everything" and also on his live album "Donny Hathaway Live". Actually, the original version of this song is called "The Voices Inside" and was recorded by "The Soulful Strings", but the Donny Hathaway versions are more well known.

This song was composed by Richard Evans, Phlip Upchurch and Ric Powell.

Subject: What a show!
Wow, what a show! I decided to go to the Super Jam instead of David Byrne, and what a great choice it turned out to be. The music was just amazing, the atmosphere was just as cool, and the people were in the best mood and mind state possible. About 6 strangers and myself were all dancing together while it was pouring buckets outside the tent. George Porter and Stanton Moore were right on the whole show. It was one of the best performances I've ever been to. Thanks so much Super Jam!

By the way, go to Bonnaroo. You wont regret it.

Subject: Funked Up!
One of the drags about festivals with multiple stages is that you are inevitably gonna miss some good shows whether by scheduling conflicts or for the basic need for downtime between shows. This was one I did not miss. The energy by the musicians was inspiring as was the shower pouring from an amber sky amidst streaks of lightning. Five stars for the music. Five stars for the weather.

For those of us who couldn't make it, this is a jumpin show. My head starts bobbin just thinking about it. Heavy jams that'll pound you into the earth, great sound, good variety.

Subject: OFF THE HOOK!!!
Outside of being the best birthday weekend ever, This was ridiculous... Much more polished, tight and funky than any of the other superjams. Maceo kept the horns in line and called out some wicked shots. Neal and Kraz kept the music flowing with some incredible solos... no one over played and everything flowed!!!
I thought there were some sound problems with the microphones and the mix never really did come out as sweet as I'd like it. Maceo's mic was out of the mix several times throughout the set... these are not taper malfunctions, but rather stage/engineer fubars... that being my only criticism of this show... Have fun with it!

Subject: Moovin' and Groovin'
This show was one of my favorite Bonnaroo shows. We were on the right side of the stage under the tree. It seemed that when the rain started they turned it up a notch and funked it up a bit. Then the shirts came off and thats when the moovin' and groovin' came into effect. Thanks Chris for the recording!

This show was off tha hook. Just look at the artists and you can see you need to d/l this. We got into the tent right at the start before the rain came and stayed their and grooved until the beggining of Trey and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. Really Good Stuff!!!
